Nexus is excited to announce the success of our first-ever pop-up clinic, hosted at St. Patrick Parish in Lawrence! This milestone event allowed us to bring vital health resources directly to the community. Our volunteer team provided approximately 30 individuals with free Type 2 diabetes checks, BMI measurements, and blood pressure checks—all aimed at fostering awareness and promoting preventive care. To further support attendees, we distributed follow-up care resources through informative posters and handed out flyers designed to raise awareness about the medical conditions we addressed. The warm reception from the Lawrence community underscored the ongoing need for accessible, compassionate healthcare services, and we are grateful to St. Patrick Parish for their partnership. As Nexus continues to grow, we remain committed to expanding this model to reach even more underserved populations.
